Dental Plan
Employees may elect to enroll in the City’s group dental plan provided by The Standard Dental.
Vision PlanEmployees may elect to enroll in the City’s vision plan provided by Vision Services Plan (VSP).
Employer Health ContributionsThe City provides a health contribution in accordance with each employee association's Memorandum of Understanding (see bottom of the page).
Voluntary Supplemental Insurance PlanOptional supplemental insurance plan (Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital, Life and Dental), pre-tax flexible spending account (FSA) and dependent care spending account programs are available through AFLAC.

Long-Term Disability
Deferred Compensation PlanVoluntary participation in City’s deferred compensation program is available to employees through MassMutual.
RetirementParticipation the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS). Retirement formulas and employee contribution rates vary for miscellaneous members and safety members under the provisions of the group’s Memorandum of Understanding and in compliance with the 2013 Pension Reform Act (PEPRA). More information about the City's CalPERS participation is available here. The City does not participate in Social Security.
529 College Savings PlanVoluntary participation in a 529 College Savings Plan is available to employees wishing to save for future college costs. Reduced minimal contribution through The Vanguard 529 Plan.
