Chief Cathy Madalone reports directly to the City Manager, is the department head for the Pacific Grove Police Department, and joined the City on June 10th, 2019 as Police Chief.

Commander David Santos reports directly to the Chief and manages the Patrol Operations Division. The Division is comprised of Patrol, School Resources, and Investigations. Commander Santos started with the Pacific Grove Police Department in January 2021.

Commander Brian Anderson reports directly to the Chief and manages the Administrative Division. The Division is comprised of Records, Property and Evidence, and Community Services Officers. Commander Anderson started with the Pacific Grove Police Department in July of 2023.
