Deferred Compensation PlanThe City of Pacific Grove participates in the Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) system. The City does not participate in Social Security.

Sick LeaveEligible part-time employees, temporary, and seasonal, earn one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked. Accrual begins on the first day of employment. Employees are entitled to use the accrued paid sick days beginning on the 90th day of employment.
