Stormwater Requirements butterfly

On March 6, 2014, requirements for treatment of stormwater take effect for new and redevelopment as required by the National Pollution Discharge Elimination Permit issued by the State Water Board.

Single-family residences that create and/or replace between 2,500 - 15,000 square feet or more of impervious surface, must prepare a Landscape Plan.  

Commercial or industrial projects that create and/or replace 5,000 square feet or more of impervious surface must prepare a Drainage and Stormwater Treatment and Control Plan. 

Any project that creates and/or replaces 22,500 square feet of impervious surface must submit a Stormwater Runoff Retention Plan.
