NOTICE OF PUBLIC RELEASE OF DRAFT HOUSING ELEMENT AND PUBLIC HEARING AT COUNCIL 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Pacific Grove will hold a Public Hearing on or after 6:00 p.m. on October 18, 2023, in the City Council Chambers, located at 300 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA 93950.
The City Council will conduct a public hearing to review and transmit the 6th Cycle Draft Housing Element (“Housing Element” or “plan”) to the State HCD for a 90-day review. The draft plan will be available for public review from September 18, 2023, through October 17, 2023, on the City’s website at https://www.cityofpacificgrove.org.
The City of Pacific Grove will hold this hearing in a hybrid format pursuant to current City Council meeting protocols. The public may appear to provide public comment in person at the City Council Chambers or virtually via Zoom. Members of the public may check the City Council website for details on accessing the meeting via the internet, telephone, and Peninsula Channel 25. Copies of the Draft Housing Element will be available for review at the Community Development Department, 300 Forest Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA 93950, and the City’s website at www.cityofpacificgrove.org on Monday, September 18, 2023, through Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Please take notice that legal challenges to the approval of the plan may be limited to raising only those issues raised at public hearings before the City or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing.
