Why these groups?

This strategy addresses the county residents most likely to die of COVID-19, while beginning to protect additional essential workers and considers equity by offering vaccine to individuals in communities historically burdened with poorer health and social outcomes.

Monterey County and its representatives in Sacramento and Washington continue to advocate for additional vaccines.

Please continue to be safe and follow guidelines, practice physical and social distancing, wear a mask when you go out, and wash your hands frequently.
