CITY OF

PACIFIC GROVE

Recreation

Our department serves community members and visitors to our city of all ages. We strive to provide the highest quality community services, youth and adult activities, and access to parks and facilities. Our mission is to increase the quality of living for the citizens of Pacific Grove and the Monterey Peninsula.

Summer Programs Postponed Until Further Notice

As of 5/22/2020, the City of Pacific Grove Recreation Department has made the difficult decision to cancel the summer day camp and aquatics programs for 2020. This includes the annual Youth Adventure Camp program, summer Pre-School activities, Swim Lesson classes and Community Swim opportunities at the Stillwell Children’s Pool at Lovers Point. While in-person recreation facilities remain closed, regular updates and resources will continue to be provided on the Virtual Recreation & Library Services webpage, as well as on Pacific Grove Recreation social media accounts.
