On September 16, 2020, the City of Pacific Grove City Council adopted Ordinance No. 20-022 to create a licensing process to allow a single storefront cannabis dispensary (which can sell adult and medicinal cannabis products) within the City. Under this ordinance, the cannabis dispensary cannot be located within a 600-foot radius of a school (K through 12th Grade), a 200-foot radius of the Pacific Grove Youth Center and the Pacific Grove Community Center, a 100-foot radius of Family Day Care, or within any area identified by the Chief of Police.

The City of Pacific Grove invites sealed bids for construction of the Pine Avenue & Eardley Avenue Traffic Calming & Pedestrian Safety Project. This work consists of construction of landscaped median islands and bulb-outs, associated curbs, sidewalks, curb ramps, storm drainage facilities, crack seal, slurry seal, traffic striping and markings, and all other work shown on the plans.

The City of Pacific Grove is soliciting soliciting proposals from experienced and capable parties interested in operating Food and Beverage Concession at the clubhouse – known as the Point Pinos Grill located at the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links. The successful respondent will be responsible for providing food, beverage, and tournament/meeting and banquet services to golfers and non-golfers, and operating and maintaining restaurant facilities (kitchen, dining area, restrooms, beverage and snack bar, and outdoor patio).
The proposing individual or company shall demonstrate the ability to perform in this type of business, clearly articulate achievable plans for operation, and document compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. The selected concessionaire shall demonstrate the ability to implement a concession program that will meet or exceed the objectives of the City of Pacific Grove as well as incorporate innovative ideas that are appropriate for this concession.
