CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR A RETAIL CANNABIS LICENSE 

On September 16, 2020, the City of Pacific Grove City Council adopted Ordinance No. 20-022 to create a licensing process to allow a single storefront cannabis dispensary (which can sell adult and medicinal cannabis products) within the City. Under this ordinance, the cannabis dispensary cannot be located within a 600-foot radius of a school (K through 12th Grade), a 200-foot radius of the Pacific Grove Youth Center and the Pacific Grove Community Center, a 100-foot radius of Family Day Care, or within any area identified by the Chief of Police.The City of Pacific Grove is currently accepting Retail Cannabis License applications and proposals from all interested parties through 4 p.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020.
