Testing at these sites, is free, safe and easy, and confidential. You do not need to have symptoms to be tested. Registration will be available onsite. Receiving this service will not affect your immigration status and you do not need a doctor’s note or health insurance. Bilingual staff will support participants through the process.
As part of the effort to increase access to testing for our residents, Monterey County is contracting with the Central Coast Visiting Nurses Association, Inc. to manage and staff COVID-19 pop up testing sites throughout the County. The intent of the pop-up clinics is to bring COVID-19 testing to communities that do not have access or have very limited access to testing services. Location of future pop- up test sites will be announced in the coming days. The County will continue to collaborate with healthcare and hospital partners to increase access to testing services.
