Forestry Management 

The two greatest influences on the City are akin to its namesake, the Pacific Ocean and the Grove of trees which border and envelop the landscape.  Trees contribute to the welfare and aesthetic qualities of our community.  Public Work’s Forestry Division, in close coordination with the Community Development Department, manages the trees on public lands including open spaces, parks and street trees.
